Dr. Gwynn Patterson, M.D., is a board-certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology who has served the women of Cochise County with distinction for over 20 years. As the first female OB/GYN in the county, she entered the field when women physicians, especially in OB/GYN, were exceedingly rare. Her presence and persistence helped shift both the culture and the standard of care for women in the region.

Dr. Patterson graduated Magna Cum Laude from Geneva College with a Bachelor of Science degree, and earned her Doctor of Medicine from George Washington University. She went on to become a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a designation that reflects her mastery of the field and commitment to maintaining the highest clinical standards.
